Lipoprotein abnormalities in well-treated type II diabetic patients - In 120 type 2 diabetic patients in good to fair metabolic control we found minor alterations of the plasma lipids, but LDL and HDL, triglycerides, apo B, and apo CIII were increased, thus indicating that the lipoprotein composition was altered, possibly because of an abnormal triglyceride metabolism and/or lipid transfer activity.
